One of the most beautifully established schools in Hainan with the capacity to hold up to 3000 students. It offers both International and Bilingual classes to grades K-12. Including preparation classes for IELTS and TEFOL testing and AP courses.
ESL Teacher Manager (November 2016 – Present)
Currently manages 4 foreign teachers, updating their schedules, evaluating teaching performance, training incoming instructors, applying appropriate measures with regards discipline, and creating a positive atmosphere to increase employee morale. As well as teaching 25 hours per week.

Mentored all current employees with regards to their duties, as well as provided improvements and feedback concerning the curriculum provided by the Cambridge Development Team.

Educated 398 students in English, Math, American Social Studies, and Science, using Mcgraw-Hill products as primary resource and now switching to Cambridge International Exams.
• Content and Curriculum Development: Directed the implementation of the Grade K through 8 curriculum in PKU Agile Bilingual School the largest school under the Agile Education Group. Developed supplementary content to the science and social studies program. Granted Five Gold Star Teacher award by Sina Weibo for curriculum expertise.
• Education Training: Researched and analyzed improvements on classroom management and present a training session every week to both English and bilingual staff. Edited and rewrote ~ 300 teacher guides to support improved academic learning. Granted PKU Outstanding Teacher award for teaching ability.
• Cross-Cultural Communication: Successfully assisted in improving cross-cultural communication between team members through mentorship, training sessions, and group discussions.
Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort 2017 - 2017 A worldwide chain of five star hotels originating in France, with a current location in Haitang Bay Sanya.
Host and Dance instructor.
Taught children a dance the performance that they would later show to their parents in a dance show. Hosted the dance show held by the hotel for children.
Motivational and Encouraging to Students. Encouraged students be comfortable dancing in show. Taught students to perform a dance and be happy on stage.
Children’s Tales. 2015 - 2016 An International kindergarten based in Beijing with 8 different branches and over 40 foreign teachers and 130 local teachers.
Lead International Teacher and Curriculum Advisor (February 2015- November 2016)
Developed, marketed, and coordinated numerous programs for school as well as trainings and team building opportunities for the staff.
• Creative Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking: Examined, and identified participation challenges previously experienced in programs and utilized social media, and personal contact to improve school attendance by 25%.
• Team Leader Teacher: watched over the foreign teachers on their daily teaching plans and lesson performance provided daily checks on proper school hygiene and child care.

Teacher/ Graduate Studies Program Rochester Arts and Science Academy (2012 - 2014)
A K through 8, IB school in America. Known locally for its inclusion of Chinese, French, and Spanish class, for students of a young age. It was recognized by local government officials as a Globally Advanced Learning Institute.
• Teacher: After finishing my degree I continued on working for Rochester Arts and Science Academy as a US history teacher, and a substitute teacher.
• Graduate Studies Program: During the last semester in college I spent my work studies program at Rochester Science and Arts Academy. Where when graduated was offered a full-time position.
VOLUNTEERISM
Mission Honduras – Assistant Director: Directed an independent humanitarian trip to Honduras with 38 participants, fundraising $30,000 and serving the needs of 250 locals.
Rochester Arts Academy Mission Trip – Team Leader: Assisted the needs of 18 High School Seniors on their humanitarian trip to Honduras, providing motivational talks, and practical support.
Projects
Our Lady of Thornwood Conference Center – Supervised a $2.5 million auditorium for ~ 300 events, coordinating all presentations, controlling audiovisual equipment (light and sound), and all relevant technology, trained 2 colleagues on all functions.
Legion of Christ College of Humanities Auditorium – Successfully directed a four person team in the implementation of new Audiovisual Equipment with a budget of $10,000.¬¬
